About AFROSKILLS

AfroSkills’ aim is to create universal standards of education and learning on every subject at every level for Africans and anyone willing to understand African context and contribute to transform Africa from poverty to prosperity. We believe that access to knowledge and skills should be available to everyone regardless of nationality and should be a universal opportunity of empowerment. That’s why we provide a non-institutional platform that bridges the gap between those with skills and those looking to gain skills. We understand access to the best learning is a right, not a privilege even for the poorest and most disadvantaged people amongst whom prisoners and refugees.

Refugees are deprived of basic rights like education. They miss out years of education. We provide them a platform to compensate for all those missed years.

Prisoners in most African countries have little or no opportunities to learn while in the prison and also miss out years of learning, education and personal development. Afroskills provides a platform to learn while in prison and compensate for the missed years.

We develop programs through curated courses collection that meet the needs of individuals and market in African countries. These are grouped under six academies to respond to the current and future needs of human capital development in African countries.
